As a writer myself, I know how important it is for your manuscript to be free of those pesky errors that drive your readers away (causing you to lose credibility).

Proofreading is the last step before publishing. It checks spelling, grammar, syntax, punctuation, and consistency.

   

I take care to preserve your words (your voice) while polishing your manuscript.

 

While proofreading, I can also do light copyediting. If requested, when I come across a word, phrase, or theme that needs tweaking, I'll leave you a comment. Then you can think about my take on your words and change them to fit your style and voice.
